No one in the community is immune to the damage caused by family violence. Everyone needs to be a part of the solution!

1 in 8 women (13%) in the State of Oregon has experienced Domestic Violence at some point in their life. That statistic is alarming, and true. If you know more than 8 women in this community then you know someone who has been directly impacted by Domestic Violence.

A coordinated community response is the only way to end violence in our communities. A zero tolerance for domestic violence is needed. Both the victim and the batterer need our help, not our blame or our indifference.

Healthy communities use a coordinated community response to violence.
