Business Reply Mail (BRM) Envelope Chart

  • Minimum size is 3-1/2 x 5.
  • If a card and it is bigger than 4-1/4 x 6, the rate will be for an envelope, not a card.
  • The mail piece must have an aspect ration of 1.3 to 2.5.

Facing Identification Marks

FIM (Facing Identification Marks) must be used on all business reply letter size mail (6-1/8" x 11-1/2" or smaller). (Not required on envelopes over 6-1/8" x 11-1/2".) Top of bars must be within 1/8" of top of envelope.

For pre-printed courtesy reply mail with bar code allows capture at the facer canceler.
