The unincorporated community of Dee is located on the west fork of the Hood River, in Hood River County. Travelers pass through Dee en route to Lost Lake. Source: The Dalles Chronicle.

Dee was named for Thomas D. Dee, business associate of the late David C. Eccles and a stockholder in the Oregon Lumber Company.
